اثر محافظتی سیر بر سمیت ناشی از استرس اکسیداتیو آمینوگلیکوزیدها

چکیده


مقدمه: نفروتوکسیسیتی ناشی از مصرف آمینوگلیکوزیدها به تولید گونه‌های آزاد اکسیژنی (ROS یا Reactive oxygen species) در کلیه نسبت داده شده است. سیر دارای خواص آنتی اکسیدانی است و هدف از این مطالعه، بررسی اثر سیر بر بهبود نفروتوکسیسیتی ناشی از جنتامایسین بود.

روش‌ها: در یک تحقیق مداخله‌ای، 50 رت نر نژاد ویستار در 5 گروه با تعداد مساوی بدین شرح تقسیم شدند: گروه I بدون دریافت دارو، گروه II دریافت کننده‌ی جنتامایسین (mg/kg 100 به مدت 10 روز)، گروه III گروه عصاره‌ی سیر (mg/kg 20 از طریق تزریق داخل صفاقی به مدت 10 روز)، گروه IV گروهی که ابتدا جنتامایسین و سپس عصاره‌ی سیر (mg/kg 20 به مدت 10 روز) دریافت کرد و گروه V گروه جنتامایسین و عصاره‌ی سیر به طور همزمان (10 روز). نیتروژن اوره‌ی خون (BUN یا Blood urea nitrogen) و کراتینین (Cr یا Creatinine) سرم اندازه‌گیری و کلیه‌ها از نظر معیارهای مورفولوژیکی درگیر کننده‌ی سلول توبولی بررسی و با یکدیگر مقایسه شدند.

یافته‌ها: مصرف سیر پس از مصرف جنتامایسین سطوح BUN و Cr را به طور قوی کاهش داد (050/0 > P). مصرف 10 روزه‌ی سیر پس از درمان با جنتامایسین، درجه‌ی آسیب پاتولوژی را نیز به طور معنی‌داری برگشت داد.

نتیجه‌گیری: سیر یک داروی نفروپروتکتیو است که شاید بتوان به منظور کاهش آسیب توبولی ایجاد شده توسط جنتامایسین از آن استفاده کرد.
