The aim of present study was comparison six-minute walking test with spirometry variables in patients who were candidates for thoracotomy.Methods: In this descriptive-analytic study, 65 patients, who were candidates for thoracotomy, recruited from Al-Zahra Hospital in Isfahan, Iran by simple nonrandom sampling. At the beginning of the study, spirometry then the six-minute walk test was performed in the patients. Also, measurements of oxygen saturation and pulse rate during exercise and distance walked during six minutes were obtained. Three patients were unable to performed six-minute walk test and excluded. Data were collected and analyzed for 65 patients.Finding: The mean age of patients was 44.8 ± 14.2 years. Mean distance walked during six minutes was 427.27 ± 98 meters. There was significant association between mean of distance walked during six minutes and FEV1 dosage (r = 0.5; P = 0.043). There was no significant association between mean of distance walked during six minutes and age (r = -0.15; P = 0.5).Conclusion: The results of this study demonstrated that there is significant association between mean of 6MWT with FEV1 but more studies are needed to assay the relations among 6MWT and spirometry variables.}, keywords = {Six-minute walk test (6MWT),Spirometry,Thoracotomy}, title_fa = {مقایسه‌‌ی نتایج آزمون راه رفتن 6 دقیقه‌ای با پارامترهای اسپیرومتری در بیماران نیازمند توراکوتومی}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه: آزمون راه رفتن 6 دقیقه‌ای (6-minute walk test یا 6MWT) یک شاخص مناسب جهت ارزیابی وضعیت فیزیکی و پاسخ‌های درمانی در بیماران مبتلا به بیماری مزمن ریوی می‌باشد. مطالعه‌ی حاضر با هدف مقایسه نتایج آزمون راه رفتن 6 دقیقه‌ای با متغیرهای اسپیرومتری در بیماران نیازمند توراکوتومی طراحی و اجرا گردید.روش‌ها: در این مطالعه‌ی توصیفی- تحلیلی 65 بیمار نیازمند توراکوتومی به صورت تصادفی آسان و به ترتیب مراجعه افراد به بیمارستان الزهرای (س) اصفهان مورد بررسی قرار گرفتند. ابتدا بیماران تحت اسپیرومتری و سپس تحت آزمون راه رفتن 6 دقیقه‌‌ای قرار گرفتند. معیارهای اسپیرومتری شامل FEV1، FVC و نسبت FEV1 به FVC و یافته‌های آزمون راه رفتن 6 دقیقه‌ای (مسافت طی شده در طی 6 دقیقه)، تعداد نبض و میزان اشباع اکسیژن خون (Saturation of oxygen‌ یا SaO2) در انتهای 6 دقیقه و یک و 3 دقیقه بعد از اتمام آزمون راه رفتن 6 دقیقه‌ای استفاده گردید. اطلاعات 65 بیمار در آنالیز نهایی وارد گردید.یافته‌ها: میانگین سنی بیماران 2/14 ± 8/44 سال بود؛ میانگین مسافت طی شده در آزمون راه رفتن 6 دقیقه‌ای در بیماران 98 ± 27/427 متر بود. بر اساس نتایج آزمون همبستگی Pearson، بین مسافت طی شده در آزمون راه رفتن 6 دقیقه‌ای و درصد FEV1 ارتباط معنی‌داری مشاهده گردید (043/0 = P؛ 5/0 = r)؛ ولی ارتباط معنی‌داری بین مسافت طی شده در آزمون راه رفتن 6 دقیقه‌ای‌ با سن (5/0 = P؛ 15-/0 = r) و میزان اکسیژن اشباع شده در بیماران وجود نداشت.نتیجه‌گیری: نتایج مطالعه‌ی حاضر نشان داد که بین مسافت طی شده در آزمون 6 دقیقه‌ای و درصد FEV1 ارتباط معنی‌داری وجود دارد. نیاز به انجام مطالعات بیشتر در خصوص بررسی ارتباط بین آزمون راه رفتن 6 دقیقه‌ای و متغیرهای اسپیرومتری مشاهده می‌شود}, keywords_fa = {آزمون راه رفتن 6 دقیقه‌ای,اسپیرومتری,توراکوتومی}, url = {https://jims.mui.ac.ir/article_13268.html}, eprint = {https://jims.mui.ac.ir/article_13268_3d2612444381fe81bf7d4ca0a6c4b09c.pdf} }
