So, the goal of present research was to test the effect of eight-week aquatic training on selected physiological factors and blood sugar of patients who suffer from type II diabetes.Methods: In this semi-experimental research, 30 men with type II diabetes in Khomeinishahr township, Iran, were put in two groups of intervention (15 patients) and control (15 patients). The intervention was an eight-week aquatic training (3 sessions in week, each session 45-60 minutes and with intensity of 60-80 percent of maximum heart rate). Whereas the control group had no regular or systematic physical activity. Weight, body mass index (BMI), maximum consuming oxygen, systolic and diastolic blood pressure, fasting blood sugar and also glycated hemoglobin were measured before and after the intervention in both groups. These data was analyzed by ANCOVA test.Findings: A significant difference was observed in maximum oxygen consumption, systolic and diastolic blood pressure, fasting blood sugar and glycated hemoglobin between intervention and control groups, whereas this difference in weight and BMI in the two groups was not significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The findings of this research indicate that an aquatic training program causes a significant improvement in blood sugar of patients with type II diabetes.}, keywords = {Type II diabetes,Selected physiological factors,Aquatic Training,Blood sugar}, title_fa = {تأثیر 8 هفته ورزش در آب بر فاکتورهای فیزیولوژیکی منتخب و قند خون بیماران مبتلا به دیابت نوع II}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه: با وجودی که از دیرباز نقش فعالیت بدنی در کنترل و بهبود دیابت نوع II و افزایش حساسیت انسولین مورد توجه بوده است، ولی انجام فعالیت‌های ورزشی در محیط‌های آبی با توجه به وضعیت روحی و جسمانی این بیماران کمتر مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است. بنابراین هدف از انجام تحقیق حاضر، بررسی تأثیر 8 هفته ورزش در آب بر روی عوامل فیزیولوژیک منتخب و قند خون در بیماران مبتلا به دیابت نوع II بود.روش‌ها: در این تحقیق نیمه تجربی، از بین مردان 50 تا60 ساله‌ی مبتلا به دیابت نوع II شهرستان خمینی‌شهر، تعداد30 نفر به صورت داوطلبانه و در دسترس انتخاب و در دو گروه مداخله (15بیمار) و شاهد (15بیمار) قرار گرفتند. گروه تجربی به مدت 8 هفته (3جلسه در هفته، هر جلسه 45 تا60 دقیقه با شدت 80-60 درصد حداکثر ضربان قلب) تمرینات ورزشی ویژه در آب انجام دادند، در حالی که گروه شاهد هیچ فعالیت بدنی منظمی‌نداشتند. در این تحقیق متغیرهای مورد بررسی شامل وزن، شاخص توده‌ی بدنی، حداکثر اکسیژن مصرفی، فشار خون سیستول و دیاستول، قندخون ناشتا و همچنین هموگلوبین گلیگوزیله‌، قبل و بعد از دوره‌ی تمرینی اندازه‌گیری شد. در نهایت داده‌ها با استفاده‌ از آزمون ANCOVA مورد تجزیه و تحلیل آماری قرار گرفت.یافته‌ها: نتایج تحقیق بیانگر تفاوت معنی‌داری بین میانگین حداکثر اکسیژن مصرفی، فشار خون سیستول، دیاستول، قندخون ناشتا و هموگلوبین گلیگوزیله بین دو گروه‌ه تجربی و شاهد بود، در حالی که این تفاوت در متغیرهای وزن و شاخص توده‌ی بدنی در گروه معنی‌دار نبود (05/0 > P).نتیجه‌گیری: نتایج تحقیق نشان داد که یک دوره‌ی ورزش در آب باعث بهبود معنی‌دار میزان قند خون بیماران مبتلا به دیابت II می‌گردد.}, keywords_fa = {دیابت نوع II,عوامل فیزیولوژیکی منتخب,ورزش در آب,قند خون}, url = {https://jims.mui.ac.ir/article_13449.html}, eprint = {https://jims.mui.ac.ir/article_13449_e62e861376d180267aa014aa567d8c1c.pdf} }
