However, the interaction between high energy photons and various materials on the Linac's head produces photoneutron contamination. Total flux of neutrons per unit of radiation in the isocenter is the sum of thermal, scattered and direct neutrons fluxes. In this study, the neutron contamination at an energy level of 18 MeV was investigated in 15 points of the Linac's room at Seyed-Al-Shohada Hospital, Isfahan, Iran.Methods: For calculation of the dose of the neutrons, 30 thermoluminescence dosemeters (TLD-600 and TLD-700) were randomly distributed in 15 points of the treatment room. In order to use TLDs, both thermal and gamma calibrations are required. While thermal calibration was performed with a 60Co source at the hospital, gamma calibration was conducted with an AM-Be source at the secondary standard dosimetry lab (SSDL) in Karaj, Iran. The exposure of the detectors was performed during the treatment of a patient at a dose of 100 cGy during 111 Monitor Unit.Findings: The results of the TLD detectors were all in the range of millisievert (mSv) and less. The measured doses in detectors 1, 2, 3, 4 and 15 were 0.378, 0.652, 0.693, 0.0605, and 0.671 mSv, respectively. Conclusion: Based on our findings, non-zero values of photoneutron contamination exist in the treatment room which are not always considered in the treatment planning of patients.}, keywords = {Dosimetry,Photoneutron contamination,Thermoluminescence dosemeter,Treatment room}, title_fa = {اندازه‌گیری مقدار دوز فوتونوترون در شتاب دهنده‌ی اتاق درمان بخش رادیوتراپی بیمارستان سیدالشهدای (ع) اصفهان}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه: امروزه رادیوتراپی با شتاب‌دهنده‌های خطی پزشکی پرانرژی یکی از تکنیک‌های ‌درمان مؤثر بیماری‌های بدخیم به شمار می‌رود. در این دستگاه‌ها از برهم‌کنش فوتون‌های پرانرژی با مواد متفاوت درون دستگاه، آلودگی فوتونوترونی تولید می‌شود. فوتونوترون‌های ایجاد شده دارای طیف وسیعی می‌باشند. شار کل نوترون‌های تولید شده بر واحد دوز اشعه در ایزوسنتر برابر با مجموع شار نوترون‌های پراکنده، مستقیم وگرمایی است. در این مطالعه به محاسبه‌ی این آلودگی در 15 نقطه‌ی اتاق درمان دستگاه Saturne20 در بیمارستان سیدالشهدای (ع) اصفهان در انرژی MV 18 پرداختیم.روش‌ها: برای انجام این تحقیق و به دست آوردن دوز نوترون از 30 عدد آشکارساز TLD-600 و TLD-700 (Thermoluminescent dosimeter) در 15 نقطه‌ی اتاق به طور کاتوره‌ای استفاده شد. لازمه‌ی استفاده از TLDها انجام دو نوع کالیبراسیون گامایی و نوترونی است. اولی با چشمه‌ی Co60 در بیمارستان سیدالشهداء (ع) و دومی با چشمه‌ی Am-Be در مرکز دوزیمتری استاندارد انرژی اتمی (SSDL یا Secondary standard dosimetry lab) مرکز کرج انجام گرفت. عمل پرتوگیری آشکارسازها در حین درمان یک بیمار با دوز  cGy100 و زمان MU 111 صورت گرفت.یافته‌ها: نتایج حاصل از آشکارسازهای TLD در همه‌ی موارد در حدود میلی‌سیورت (mSv) ‌و کمتر از آن بود؛ به طوری که مقدار دوز اندازه گیری شده در آشکارسازهای شماره‌ی 1 برابر با 378/0، شماره‌ی 2 برابر با 652/0، شماره‌ی 3 برابر با 693/0، شماره‌ی 10 برابر با 0605/0 و شماره‌ی 15 برابر با 671/0 میلی‌سیورت به دست آمد.نتیجه‌گیری: مقداری آلودگی فوتونوترونی در اتاق درمان در حین درمان وجود دارد که اغلب در طراحی درمان منظور نمی‌شود و این موضوع باعث دریافت دوز اضافی بیمار می‌گردد.}, keywords_fa = {دوزیمتری,آلودگی فوتونوترونی,آشکارساز (TLD),اتاق درمان}, url = {https://jims.mui.ac.ir/article_13630.html}, eprint = {https://jims.mui.ac.ir/article_13630_b9df61284e19bc73d880acdaaac40623.pdf} }
