This study was designed to evaluate epidemiologic characteristics and seasonal distribution of stroke among patients with first and recurrent stroke.Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted during 2010-2011 in the departments of neurology at two hospitals affiliated to Isfahan University of Medical Sciences, Isfahan, Iran. Overall, 590 ninety patients above 16 years old with confirmed stroke diagnosis enrolled in this study. Hypertension (HTN), diabetes, dyslipidemia, atrial fibrillation (AF), myocardial infarction, valvular diseases (VD), smoking and addiction, ischemic heart disease, history of prior stroke and seasons of the year were registered.Findings: Among the 590 patients, 287 (48.6%) were females and 303 (51.4%) were males. Moreover, 94 patients (15.9%), 89 (15.1%), 110 (18.6%), 162 (27.5%), 124 (21%) and 11 (1.9%) were < 50, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89 and ≥ 90 years old, respectively (P = 0.01). HTN, AF and VD were the commonest risk factors in patients with prior history of stroke compared to those with first strokes (P = 0.01, P = 0.01, and P = 0.02, respectively). Conclusion: This study indicated no difference in the prevalence of stroke between seasons. HTN, AF, and VD were the commonest risk factors in patients with prior history of stroke.}, keywords = {Stroke,Risk Factors,Prevalence,Season}, title_fa = {بررسی اپیدمیولوژیک عوامل خطر استروک در بیماران با اولین حمله‌ی استروک در مقایسه با بیماران با حمله‌ی مجدد و بررسی فراوانی استروک در فصول مختلف}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه: سکته‌ی مغزی سومین علت شایع مرگ در کشورهای توسعه یافته و شایع‌ترین بیماری ناتوان کننده‌ی نورولوژیک است. این مطالعه جهت بررسی اپیدمیولوژیک استروک و عوامل خطر آن در بیماران با اولین حمله و بیماران با حمله‌ی مجدد و همچنین سنجش فراوانی استروک در فصل‌های مختلف سال طراحی شد.روش‌ها: این مطالعه‌ی آینده‌نگر از اول دی سال 1388 تا پایان آذر سال 1389 در دو بیمارستان الزهرا (س) و کاشانی (مراکز ارجاع)، دانشگاه علوم پزشکی اصفهان، اصفهان، ایران انجام شد. 590 بیمار مبتلا به استروک با سن بالاتر از 16 سال که بیماری آن‌ها توسط یک نورولوژیست تأیید شده بود، وارد مطالعه شدند. فشار خون بالا، دیابت، اختلالات پروفایل لیپید، سابقه‌ی سکته‌ی قلبی، سابقه‌ی فیبریلاسیون دهلیزی، سابقه‌ی بیماری دریچه‌ای قلبی، مصرف سیگار و اعتیاد، سابقه‌ی بیماری ایسکمیک قلبی، سابقه‌ی استروک قبلی و فصل‌های سال بین بیماران سنجیده شد.یافته‌ها: از بین 590 بیمار 287 (6/48 درصد) زن و 303 (4/51 درصد) مرد بودند. 94 بیمار (9/15 درصد) زیر 50 سال، 89 بیمار (1/15 درصد) بین 59-50 سال، 110 بیمار (6/18 درصد) بین 69-60 سال، 162 بیمار (5/27 درصد) بین 79-70 سال، 124 بیمار (21 درصد) بین 89-80 سال و 11 بیمار (9/1 درصد) مساوی یا بیشتر از 90 سال سن داشتند (01/0 > P). فشار خون، فیبریلاسیون دهلیزی و بیماری‌های دریچه‌ای قلب در بیماران با حمله‌ی مجدد به طور معنی‌داری از بیماران با اولین حمله بیشتر بود ( به ترتیب 01/0 > P، 01/0 > P و 02/0 > P).نتیجه‌گیری: این مطالعه نشان داد که تفاوتی بین فصول سال در میزان بروز استروک وجود نداشت و فشار خون، فیبریلاسیون دهلیزی و بیماری‌های دریچه‌ای قلب مهم‌ترین عوامل خطر استروک در بیماران با حمله‌ی مجدد در مقایسه با اولین حمله بود.}, keywords_fa = {استروک,عامل خطر,شیوع,فصل}, url = {https://jims.mui.ac.ir/article_13688.html}, eprint = {https://jims.mui.ac.ir/article_13688_4ad945a3ae6da96d846abac405ea971a.pdf} }
