Timely and correct treatment of burns can minimize the damage and and improper actions can cause irreversible damage and even tend to death. This study aimed to evaluate the prevalence of hypothermia and its relationship to the mortality rate in burned patients referred to Imam Musa Kazim Hospital, Isfahan, Iran in 2014.Methods: The study samples were the patients with grades II or III selected via convenience sampling. Written consent was obtained from the subjects. First, researchers or colleagues take the patient's temperature with a rectal mercury thermometer. Rectal thermometer was placed in the anal canal and after 5 minutes, the temperature was read and recorded. Totally, 150 patients with the inclusion criteria entered the study.Findings: There was significant relationship between hypothermia and mortality (P < 0.050). Fisher's exact test showed no significant relationship between cooling the patients in the event site and hypothermia (P = 0.228). In addition, there was a significant relationship between keeping the patient warm during transporting to the hospital and hypothermia (P = 0.041).Conclusion: Based on our findings, it seems that transporting burned patients to the hospital is not done under standard condition. Regarding the consequences of incorrect transfer on wound healing process and length of hospital stay and cost of treatment, it is suggested that the transition team should be of qualified and trained staff to reduce the health-care costs in burn patients.}, keywords = {Hypothermia,Burn,Transport}, title_fa = {بررسی میزان هیپوترمی در بیماران دچار سوختگی و ارتباط آن با مرگ و میر بیماران ارجاعی به بیمارستان امام موسی کاظم (ع) شهر اصفهان}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه: بیمار دچار سوختگی به علت از دست رفتن پوست و شدت حادثه، مستعد هیپوترمی است. برخورد به موقع و صحیح افراد حاضر در صحنه‌ی سوختگی می‌تواند آسیب ناشی از این عارضه را به حداقل برساند و بر عکس برخورد نامناسب و اقدامات غیر علمی در این موارد می‌تواند منجر به صدمات غیر قابل برگشت و حتی از دست رفتن جان مصدوم شود. به همین منظور، تحقیق حاضر با هدف بررسی وضعیت موجود و ارایه‌ی راهکارهایی جهت بهبود نحوه‌ی برخورد با این بیماران در زمان انتقال و در محل حادثه انجام گرفت.روش‌ها: در این پژوهش، نمونه‌ها به روش آسان از بین بیماران دچار سوختگی حرارتی انتخاب شدند. به محض ورود بیماران دچار سوختگی دارای شرایط ورود به مطالعه، پژوهشگر و یا همکاران اقدام به گرفتن دمای بدن بیمار با یک ترمومتر جیوه‌ای رکتال و در شرایط یکسان نمودند. پس از 5 دقیقه، دما قرائت و در چک‌لیست ثبت گردید. در کل، 150 نمونه به روش آسان انتخاب و به مطالعه وارد شدند.یافته‌ها: بین هیپوترمی و مرگ و میر در بیماران ارتباط معنی‌داری وجود داشت (050/0 > P). مطابق با یافته‌های آزمون Fisher exact، بین خنک کردن بیمار در محل حادثه و هیپوترمی بیماران رابطه‌ی معنی‌داری مشاهده نشد (228/0 = P). همچنین، ارتباط بین گرم نگه داشتن بیمار در حین اعزام با هیپوترمی بیماران معنی‌دار بود (041/0 = P).نتیجه‌گیری: از مطالعه‌ی حاضر چنین نتیجه‌گیری می‌شود که انتقال بیماران دچار سوختگی در ایران با استانداردها فاصله‌ی زیادی دارد. با توجه به این‌که پیامدهای انتقال نادرست بیماران دچار سوختگی بر فرایند ترمیم زخم و در نتیجه مدت اقامت و هزینه‌ی درمان آنان تأثیرگذار است، پیشنهاد می‌گردد که با در نظر گرفتن تیم انتقال متخصص و آموزش دیده برای این بیماران، هزینه‌های درمانی آنان کاهش پیدا کند.}, keywords_fa = {هیپوترمی,سوختگی,انتقال}, url = {https://jims.mui.ac.ir/article_14778.html}, eprint = {https://jims.mui.ac.ir/article_14778_d79973134c5430faab00408904d038a9.pdf} }
