Different treatments are used for it and all of them have adverse side-effects. Vitiligo is an autoimmune disease associated with other autoimmune diseases such as hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes mellitus, and so on. In these diseases, deficiency of vitamin D and B12 are proposed. So in this study, treatment response and remission in patients taking oral vitamin D and B12 was administered.Methods: 60 patients with active vitiligo were randomly divided into three groups. Group I received topical PUVA for 6 months; group II received topical PUVA and 1 cc oral drops of vitamin D3 daily for 2 months, and then topical PUVA alone for following 4 months; and group III received topical PUVA and 1 cc oral drops of vitamin D3 daily and sublingual tablets of vitamin B12 daily for 2 months, and then treated with topical PUVA for following 4months. Cure rate and side effects were evaluated using Vitiligo Area Scoring Index (VASI) at the third and sixth months.Findings: In each of the three treated groups at different times, the average changes in the area and extent of the lesion were not significantly different. Pruritus and erythema occurred in some patients.Conclusion: In this study, the reduction in the extent and area of lesions in the group receiving vitamin D compared to the control group were higher that indicated the role of vitamin D in preventing progression of active vitiligo.}, keywords = {Vitiligo,Vitamin D,Vitamin B12,Treatment}, title_fa = {مقایسه‌ی بهبودی مبتلایان به Vitiligoی فعال در درمان با PUVA Therapy موضعی به تنهایی، PUVA Therapy موضعی به همراه مصرف ویتامین D خوراکی و PUVA Therapy موضعی به همراه مصرف ویتامین‌های D و 12B خوراکی}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه: Vitiligo نوعی اختلال اکتسابی چند عاملی محسوب می‌شود که درمان‌های متفاوتی برای آن مطرح شده است و این درمان‌ها همگی عوارض ناخواسته و نامطلوبی را در پی دارند. Vitiligo یک بیماری خودایمن است و با بیماری‌های خودایمنی دیگری مانند هیپوتیروئیدی، هیپرتیروئیدی، آرتریت روماتوئید، دیابت ملیتوس و ... همراهی دارد که در آن‌ها کمبود ویتامین D و 12B مطرح می‌باشد. مطالعه‌ی حاضر با هدف ارزیابی میزان پاسخ به درمان و بهبودی در بیماران دریافت کننده‌ی ویتامین D و 12B خوراکی انجام شد.روش‌ها: 60 بیمار مبتلا به Vitiligoی فعال به صورت تصادفی در سه گروه قرار گرفتند. گروه اول به مدت 6 ماه PUVA therapy موضعی دریافت کردند. گروه دوم در 2 ماه ابتدایی PUVA therapy همراه با قطره‌ی خوراکی ویتامین 3D روزی 1 سی‌سی و 4 ماه بعد فقط PUVA therapy دریافت نمودند. در گروه سوم در 2 ماه ابتدایی، PUVA therapy همراه با قطره‌ی ویتامین 3D و قرص‌های زیرزبانی ویتامین 12B روزانه یک عدد و 4 ماه بعد فقط PUVA therapy انجام گرفت. میزان بهبودی و عوارض جانبی در ماه سوم و ششم درمان با استفاده از شاخص Vitiligo Area Scoring Index (VASI) ارزیابی شد.یافته‌ها: متوسط تغییرات مساحت ضایعه و وسعت در هر یک از سه گروه مورد بررسی در زمان‌های مختلف مراجعه‌ی بیماران تفاوت معنی‌داری با یکدیگر نداشت. خارش و اریتم در چند بیمار مشاهده گردید.نتیجه‌گیری: میزان کاهش وسعت و مساحت ضایعات در}, keywords_fa = {Vitiligo,ویتامین D,ویتامین 12B,درمان}, url = {https://jims.mui.ac.ir/article_15150.html}, eprint = {https://jims.mui.ac.ir/article_15150_0e32326c784d7eab849feb3c1d21e0b0.pdf} }
