In this study for the first time, the effects of intravenous injection of ondansetron, propofol, and dexamethasone on reducing the incidence of pruritus after cataract surgery were compared with the control group.Methods: In this clinical trial study, patients were randomly divided into four groups of dexamethasone, ondansetron, propofol, and normal saline for intravenous infusion. After entering the recovery for up to 6 hours, the patient was asked about itching, nausea, and vomiting. Information was compared between the four groups.Findings: The level of pruritus around the eyes during 0 to 1 hour after the surgery was significantly lower in the ondansetron and dexamethasone groups than others (P < 0.050). There was no significant difference between the groups regarding the level of pruritus around the eyes during 1 to 2 and 2 to 6 hours after the surgery (P < 0.050 for all).Conclusion: Propofol plays a major role in reducing postoperative nausea and vomiting. Ondansetron is effective in reducing nausea and vomiting and itching after the surgery. Dexamethasone is also effective in reducing pruritus around the eyes after the surgery. It is recommended to do more researches with more samples in addition to eliminating the limitations.}, keywords = {Cataract,Dexamethasone,Ondansetron,Propofol,Complications}, title_fa = {بررسی و مقایسه‌ی تأثیر پروپوفول، دگزامتازون و اندانسترون در پیشگیری از عوارض حین و بعد از عمل جراحی کاتاراکت}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه: یکی از عوارض پس از عمل جراحی کاتاراکت، خارش است. در مطالعه‌ی حاضر برای اولین بار، میزان تأثیر تزریق وریدی اندانسترون، پروپوفول و دگزامتازون در کاهش بروز خارش پس از عمل جراحی کاتاراکت بررسی و با گروه شاهد مقایسه گردید.روش‌ها: در این پژوهش کارآزمایی بالینی، بیماران به صورت تصادفی به چهار گروه تقسیم شدند و به ترتیب تحت تزریق وریدی دگزامتازون، اندانسترون، پروپوفول و نرمال سالین قرار گرفتند. پس از ورود به ریکاوری تا 6 ساعت، از بیمار در خصوص خارش و تهوع و استفراغ سؤال شد. داده‌های به دست آمده از چهار گروه مورد مقایسه و تحلیل قرار گرفت.یافته‌ها: میزان بروز خارش اطراف چشم در گروه اندانسترون (8/12 درصد) و دگزامتازون (5/7 درصد) در بازه‌ی صفر تا 1 ساعت اول پس از عمل جراحی به طور معنی‌داری کمتر از سایر گروه‌ها بود (050/0 > P). تفاوت معنی‌داری بین گروه‌ها در بروز خارش اطراف چشم در زمان‌های ۱ تا ۲ و ۲ تا ۶ ساعت وجود نداشت (050/0 < P).نتیجه‌گیری: پروپوفول تا حدود زیادی در کاهش تهوع و استفراغ بعد از عمل نقش دارد. استفاده از اندانسترون در ساعت اول پس از عمل، نقش مؤثری در کاهش خارش و به ویژه تهوع و استفراغ پس از عمل جراحی دارد. دگزامتازون نیز در ساعت اول پس از عمل، بر کاهش خارش اطراف چشم مؤثرتر از سایر داروها می‌باشد. پیشنهاد می‌شود در بررسی‌های آینده ضمن برطرف کردن محدودیت‌ها، تحقیقات بیشتر با حجم نمونه‌ی بیشتر انجام گیرد.}, keywords_fa = {کاتاراکت,دگزامتازون,اندانسترون,پروپوفول,عوارض}, url = {https://jims.mui.ac.ir/article_15544.html}, eprint = {https://jims.mui.ac.ir/article_15544_0951a78a62ea87cf0e40db018b983112.pdf} }
