In the present study, anemia in IBD was assessed.Methods: This was a cross-sectional study conducted on 25 patients with Crohn’s disease (CD), 49 patients with ulcerative colitis (US), and 14 patients with undetermined colitis in years 2016-17. Hematological indices including ferritin, transferring saturation, hemoglobin, mean corpuscular volume (MCV), vitamin B12, and folate were measured. Demographic information and region of intestinal involvement were compared as well.Findings: Based on gender distribution, anemia was not significantly different between Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, or undetermined colitis (P = 0.89). In addition, type of anemia including iron deficiency anemia, anemia of chronic disease, and macrocytic anemia was not different (P = 0.97) between the colitis types. Anemia was not in association with site of intestinal involvement (P = 0.89).Conclusion: Based on the findings of the current study, anemia is not statistically associated with type of bowel involvement, and site of bowel involvement. Further studies are recommended.}, keywords = {Inflammatory bowel disease,Anemia,Iron-deficiency anemia,Chronic Disease,Anemia, Macrocytic}, title_fa = {ارزیابی انواع آنمی در بیماران مبتلا به انواع بیماری التهابی روده تحت درمان دارویی}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه: آنمی، یک عارضه‌ی معمول سیستمیک در بیماری التهابی روده (Inflammatory bowel disease یا IBD) است و می‌تواند به صورت ترکیبی از آنمی فقر آهن (Iron deficiency anemia یا IDA)، آنمی بیماری مزمن (Anemia of chronic disease یا ACD)، آنمی ناشی از سوء جذب ویتامین B12 و کمبود فولات بروز کند. در مطالعه‌ی حاضر، به ارزیابی آنمی در بیماران مبتلا به IBD پرداخته شد.روش‌ها: مطالعه‌ی حاضر، از نوع مقطعی بود که بر روی تعداد 25 بیمار مبتلا به بیماری کرون (Crohn’s disease یا CD)، 49 بیمار با کولیت اولسرو (Ulcerative colitis یا UC) و 14 بیمار با Undetermined colitis طی سال‌های 96-1395 انجام گرفت. شاخص‌های خونی شامل فریتین، اشباع ترانسفرین، هموگلوبین، Mean corpuscular volume (MCV)، ویتامین B12 و فولات اندازه‌گیری شد. اطلاعات دموگرافیک و محل درگیری لوله‌ی گوارش نیز مورد مقایسه قرار گرفت.یافته‌ها: آنمی از لحاظ جنسیت در بیماری‌های کرون، کولیت اولسرو و Undetermined colitis تفاوت معنی‌داری نداشت (89/0 = P). همچنین، از نظر نوع آنمی فقر آهن، بیماری مزمن و ماکروسیتیک تفاوت معنی‌داری یافت نشد (98/0 = P). به علاوه، آنمی از لحاظ محل درگیری روده نیز تفاوت معنی‌داری در انواع IBD نداشت (89/0 = P).نتیجه‌گیری: طبق یافته‌های مطالعه‌ی حاضر، آنمی با نوع بیماری التهابی روده و محل درگیری روده ارتباط آماری معنی‌داری نداشت. مطالعات وسیع‌تری در این زمینه توصیه می‌گردد.}, keywords_fa = {بیماری التهابی روده,آنمی,آنمی فقر آهن,بیماری مزمن,آنمی ماکروسیتیک}, url = {https://jims.mui.ac.ir/article_15633.html}, eprint = {https://jims.mui.ac.ir/article_15633_7bef835b6f7e349e58f89e80e511aac2.pdf} }
