Therefore, in this study, we aimed to investigate the association between prothrombin time (PT), partial thromboplastin time (PTT), international normalized ratio (INR), and platelet count with Glasgow coma scale (GCS) in patients with brain trauma.Methods: In this prospective study, 120 patients with a brain injury admitted to intensive care units (ICU) of Alzahra hospital in Isfahan, Iran, were randomly selected. PT, PTT, INR, and platelet counts were measured at the time of admission to the intensive care unit and 24 hours after it.Findings: At the beginning of admission to intensive care unit, GCS had a significant correlation with platelet count (r = 0.31, P < 0.010), and reverse and significant correlation with PT (r = -0.29, P = 0.001), PTT (r = -0.32, P < 0.010), and INR (r = -0.29, P = 0.001). Similarly, 24 hours after admission to the intensive care unit, GCS had a direct and significant correlation with platelet count and also a significant and inverse correlation with PT, PTT, and INR (P < 0.050 for all).Conclusion: GCS has a direct correlation with blood platelet level, and has an inverse correlation with PT, PTT, and INR, and therefore, these blood coagulation parameters can be used to predict the severity of brain trauma in patients with head trauma.}, keywords = {Prothrombin time,Partial thromboplastin time,International normalized ratio,Blood platelets,Glasgow coma scale}, title_fa = {بررسی ارتباط بین پارامترهای انعقاد خون و معیار کمای Glasgow در بیماران با ضربه‌ی مغزی بستری در بخش مراقبت‌های ویژه}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه: آسیب مغزی ناشی از تروما، به عنوان یکی از عوامل اصلی مرگ و میر و ناتوانی به طور شایع با تغییر در پارامترهای انعقاد خون و کواگولوپاتی ارتباط دارد. از این رو، مطالعه‌ی حاضر ‌با هدف بررسی ارتباط بین زمان پروترومبین (Prothrombin time یا PT)، زمان نسبی ترومبوپلاستین (Partial thromboplastin time یا PTT)، نسبت طبیعی شده‌ی بین‌المللی (International normalized ratio یا INR) و شمارش پلاکت با معیار کمای Glasgow (Glasgow coma scale یا GCS) در بیماران دچار ضربه‌ی مغزی انجام شد.روش‌ها: در این مطالعه‌ی آینده‌نگر، 120 بیمار مبتلا به ضربه‌ی مغزی بستری شده در بخش مراقبت‌های ویژه‌ی بیمارستان الزهرای (س) اصفهان در سال‌های 96-1395 به صورت تصادفی انتخاب شدند و مورد بررسی قرار گرفتند. میزان PT، PTT، INR و شمارش پلاکت در بدو ورود به بخش مراقبت‌های ویژه و 24 ساعت پس از بستری در این بخش، اندازه‌گیری و با میزان GCS مقایسه شد.یافته‌ها: در بدو ورود به بخش مراقبت‌های ویژه، میزان GCS رابطه‌ی مستقیم و معنی‌داری با شمارش پلاکت (010/0 > P و 31/0+ = r) و همچنین، رابطه‌ی معکوس و معنی‌داری با PT (001/0 = P و 29/0- = r)، PTT (010/0 > P و 32/0- = r) و INR (001/0 = P و 29/0- = r) داشت. به طور مشابه، 24 ساعت پس از بستری در بخش مراقبت‌های ویژه، میزان GCS رابطه‌ی مستقیم و معنی‌داری با شمارش پلاکت و همچنین، رابطه‌ی معکوس و معنی‌داری با PT، PTT و INR نشان داد (050/0 > P).نتیجه‌گیری: معیار GCS با سطح پلاکت خون رابطه‌ی مستقیم و با میزان PT، PTT و INR رابطه‌ی معکوسی دارد و از این رو، می‌توان از این پارامترهای انعقاد خون جهت پیش‌بینی شدت ضربه‌ی مغزی در بیماران با ضربه‌ به سر استفاده نمود}, keywords_fa = {زمان پروترومبین,زمان نسبی ترومبوپلاستین,نسبت طبیعی شده‌ی بین‌المللی,پلاکت خون,معیار کمای Glasgow}, url = {https://jims.mui.ac.ir/article_15637.html}, eprint = {https://jims.mui.ac.ir/article_15637_8114be134f454fcd8348acf49672d36f.pdf} }
