Two of these evaluation systems are Acute Physiology and Chronic Health Evaluation (APACHE) and Sequential Organ Failure Assessment (SOFA). So far, these two systems have not been compared. So we aimed to compare SOFA and APACHE III.Methods: This cross-sectional study was performed in 2016 in Alzahra hospital, Isfahan, Iran. We studied a total number of 100 non-traumatic ICU patients, and APACHE and SOFA scores were evaluated for each of them. Data were then collected and analyzed using SPSS software.Findings: Of the total 100 patients, 21% of them died. Both APACHE III and SOFA had an accuracy rate of 95.20% for those patients who were going to die. On the other hand, SOFA system had an accuracy rate of 26.08% for prediction of those patients who were going to live, which was 36.36% for APACHE III in same patients (P < 0.001).Conclusion: Our results indicate that APACHE III and SOFA have the same value in prediction of mortality rate in patients admitted to ICU; but for negative predictive values, APACHE III has a better preference.}, keywords = {Intensive Care Unit,Mortality,APACHE III,SOFAS scores}, title_fa = {مقایسه‌ی دو سیستم امتیازدهی SOFA و APACHE III در پیش‌بینی مرگ و میر بیماران غیر مبتلا به ترومای بستری در بخش مراقبت‌های ویژه}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه: با توجه به محدودیت در تعداد تخت و منابع بخش‌های مراقبت‌های ویژه، سیستم‌های امتیازدهی گوناگونی برای تعیین پیش‌آگهی مرگ و میر بیماران معرفی شده‌اند که از جمله‌ی این سیستم‌ها، Acute physiology and chronic health evaluation (APACHE III) و Sequential organ failure assessment (SOFA) می‌باشند. با توجه به این که تا کنون این دو سیستم با یکدیگر مقایسه نشده‌ بودند، مطالعه‌ی حاضر با هدف مقایسه‌ی این دو سیستم طراحی و اجرا گردید.روش‌ها: این مطالعه، مطالعه‌ای توصیفی- تحلیلی است که در سال 1394 در بخش مراقبت‌های ویژه‌ی بیمارستان الزهرای (س) اصفهان انجام گرفت. در این مطالعه، در مجموع 100 بیمار غیر مبتلا به تروما مورد بررسی قرار گرفتند و نمره‌ی APACHE III و SOFA آن‌ها محاسبه گردید. پس از جمع‌آوری داده‌ها، تجزیه و تحلیل آن‌ها با استفاده از نرم‌افزار SPSS انجام شد.یافته‌ها: از بین بیماران مورد مطالعه، 21 درصد فوت شدند. بر اساس یافته‌های این مطالعه، هر دو سیستم SOFA و APACHE III دارای دقت 20/95 درصد در تشخیص بیمارانی که فوت خواهند کرد، می‌باشند، اما از طرف دیگر، سیستم SOFA در تشخیص بیمارانی که نجات خواهند یافت، دارای دقت 08/26 درصد و سیستم APACHE III دارای دقت 36/36 درصد در تشخیص همین بیماران است (001/0 > P).نتیجه‌گیری: طبق نتایج این مطالعه، استفاده از سیستم‌های APACHE III و SOFA در تشخیص میزان مرگ و میر بیماران دارای ارزش مساوی می‌باشد، اما از نظر ارزش اخباری منفی، سیستم APACHE III ارجحیت دارد.}, keywords_fa = {بخش مراقبت‌های ویژه,مرگ و میر,APACHE III,نمره‌ی SOFAS}, url = {https://jims.mui.ac.ir/article_15669.html}, eprint = {https://jims.mui.ac.ir/article_15669_d56ff37bc5c29790f152a91efcc79f1b.pdf} }
