The first group was treated with weekly intralesional injections of glucantime alone. The second group was treated weekly with intralesional injections of glucantime and 0.4% amphotericin topical gel daily.<br>Findings: The mean (standard deviation) age of 32 participants in the study was 33.4 (14.8) and 29 (72.5%) of them were men. 70% of patients in the glucantime alone group and 80% of patients in the amphotericin group showed complete cure. There was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of the outcome by examining changes in size and induration of the lesions (P>0.05). Results of repeated measures revealed that the effect of the course was significant for the change in the size of the lesions in the two drug groups (P=0.36).<br>Conclusion: The combination of amphotericin gel with the standard treatment of cutaneous leishmaniasis causes a slight increase in the effectiveness of the treatment, although this slight improvement was not significant in our study. <strong><span dir="RTL" lang="AR-SA">مقدمه:</span></strong><span dir="RTL" lang="AR-SA"> هدف از مطالعه‌ی حاضر، بررسی اثربخشی ژل آمفوتریسین موضعی بر ضایعات جلدی لیشمانیوزیس با اضافه کردن این دارو به درمان استاندارد لیشمانیوزیس بوده است</span>. <strong><span dir="RTL" lang="AR-SA">روش‌ها:</span></strong><span dir="RTL" lang="AR-SA"> </span><span dir="RTL" lang="AR-SA">این مطالعه بصورت کارآزمایی بالینی تصادفی شده روی دو گروه بیماران انجام شد. گروه اول تحت درمان هفتگی با تزریق داخل ضایعه گلوکانتیم قرار گرفتند. گروه دوم نیز تحت درمان هفتگی با تزریق داخل ضایعه گلوکانتیم و ژل موضعی آمفوتریسین 4/0 درصد روزانه پیامد درمان بوسیله بررسی ایندوراسیون و تغییر سایز و عوارض جانبی مورد بررسی قرار گرفت</span>. <strong><span dir="RTL" lang="FA">یافته‌ها:</span></strong><span dir="RTL" lang="FA"> </span><span dir="RTL" lang="AR-SA">میانگین (انحراف معیار) سنی 32 فرد شرکت‌کننده برابر با 33/4 (14/8) سال بود و 29 نفر (5/72 درصد) از آنان را مردان تشکیل داده بودند. 70 درصد از بیماران گروه گلوکانتیم تنها و 80 درصد بیماران گروه آمفوتریسین بهبودی کامل یافتند. در بررسی میزان بهبودی به کمک تغییرات سایز و اندوراسیون ضایعات، تفاوت معنی‌داری بین دو گروه از نظر میزان بهبودی وجود نداشت (0/05 < </span><span>P</span><span dir="RTL" lang="AR-SA">). اثر دوره در تغییر سایز ضایعات در دو گروه دارویی دارای تفاوت معنی‌داری نبود </span><span dir="RTL" lang="FA">(0/36 = </span><span>P</span><span dir="RTL" lang="FA">)</span><span dir="RTL" lang="FA">.</span> https://jims.mui.ac.ir/article_33211_82b57e60cd5cd5d41a14ffc31b255f5b.pdf
