In a patient with a history of colon polyps, more polyps were observed in the colonoscopy capsule compared to colonoscopy, and in a patient with a history of ulcerative colitis, capsule colonoscopy had acceptable findings compared to colonoscopy. <span style="font-size: 10.0pt; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: FA;">استفاده از کولونوسکوپی کپسولی در مقایسه با سایر روش‌های آندوسکوپی، روش قابل قبول‌تر و ایمن‌تری است، به نظر می‌رسد استفاده از آن در بیماری‌های روده کوچک، سندرم‌های پولیپوز، بیماری‌های التهابی روده و به عنوان غربالگری افراد بدون علامت می‌تواند مؤثر باشد.
