بررسی مقایسه‌ای شیوع آلودگی به گونه‌های Cryptosporidium در بیماران مبتلا به Multiple Sclerosis در مقایسه با گروه شاهد در شهر اصفهان

چکیده

مقدمه: هدف از انجام این مطالعه، تعیین توزیع فراوانی آلودگی به انگل Cryptosporidium در بیماران مبتلا به Multiple sclerosis (MS) و مقایسه‌ی آن با افراد سالم بود.روش‌ها: طی یک مطالعه‌ی مورد- شاهدی که در سال 1394 در بیمارستان الزهرای (س) اصفهان انجام گرفت، 50 بیمار مبتلا به MS (گروه مورد) و 50 فرد سالم (گروه شاهد) انتخاب شدند و شیوع انگل Cryptosporidium در آن‌ها با استفاده از روش‌های مستقیم و تغلیظ، مورد بررسی و مقایسه قرار گرفت.یافته‌ها: از 100 نمونه‌ی تحت آزمایش، تنها 3 نمونه (3 درصد) از نظر وجود Cryptosporidium مثبت بودند که 1 نمونه (2 درصد) از گروه شاهد و 2 نمونه (4 درصد)، از گروه مورد بودند، اما شیوع Cryptosporidium در دو گروه مورد و شاهد اختلاف معنی‌داری نداشت (560/0 = P). شیوع Cryptosporidium، همچنین بر حسب سن و جنس و شغل، اختلاف معنی‌داری نداشت، اما بر حسب محل سکونت و نگهداری دام در منزل اختلاف معنی‌داری داشت؛ به طوری که هر 3 مورد مثبت انگل Cryptosporidium، در بیمارانی مشاهده شد که در روستا سکونت داشتند و در منزل، حیوان نگهداری می‌کردند (001/0 > P).نتیجه‌گیری: در این مطالعه، شیوع انگل Cryptosporidium بر حسب محل سکونت و تماس با دام اختلاف معنی‌داری داشت.

چکیده [English]

Background: The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence of Cryptosporidium infection in patients with multiple sclerosis compared to control group in Isfahan city, Iran.Methods: In a case-control study, that was done in Alzahra hospital in Isfahan during 2015-2016, 50 multiple sclerotic and 50 healthy people were selected and the prevalence of Cryptosporidium in the two groups were detected by direct methods and concentration and compared between the two groups.Findings: Only 3 cases out of 100 were positive for Cryptosporidium SPP where one case was from control and 2 cases were from the case group (2 versus 4 percent). But, prevalence of Cryptosporidium in the two groups was not statistically different (P = 0.56). Prevalence of this parasite in residence and domestic animal keeping had significant difference. 3 cases of positive were in rural areas and kept domestic animals on their houses (P < 0.001).Conclusion: In this study, there was significant difference between this parasite and residence and keeping domestic animal.
