مقایسه‌ی سبک زندگی ارتقا دهنده‌ی سلامت در سالمندان مبتلا به افسردگی و سالمندان سالم شهر اصفهان در سال 1397

چکیده

مقدمه: باتوجه به شیوع بالای افسردگی در سالمندان و همچنین، اهمیت سبک زندگی ارتقا دهنده‌ی سلامت در پیش‌گیری از بیماری‌های دوران سالمندی، پژوهش حاضر با هدف مقایسه‌ی سبک زندگی ارتقا دهنده‌ی سلامت در سالمندان مبتلا به افسردگی و سالم طراحی و اجرا شد.روش‌ها: این مطالعه، یک مطالعه‌ی مقطعی بود که در سال 1397 بر روی200 نفر از افراد با سن بالاتر از 60 سال مراجعه کننده به مراکز خدمات جامع سلامت شهر اصفهان انجام شد. اطلاعات دموگرافیک، سبک زندگی ارتقا دهنده‌ی سلامت (بر اساس پرسش‌نامه‌ی Walker و Hill-Polerecky) و افسردگی (با استفاده از فرم کوتاه Geriatric depression scale یا GDS) در شرکت کنندگان، ارزیابی، ثبت و واکاوی گردید.یافته‌ها: فراوانی افسردگی در 200 سالمند بررسی شده، 1/59 درصد بود و واکاوی اولیه بین وضعیت تأهل، تحصیلات و همه‌ی ابعاد سبک زندگی ارتقا دهنده‌ی سلامت (تغذیه، ورزش، مسؤولیت‌پذیری در مورد سلامت، مدیریت استرس، حمایت بین فردی و خودشکوفایی) و افسردگی ارتباط معنی‌داری دیده شد، اما پس از تعدیل کردن همه‌ی عوامل در واکاوی Regression چند متغیره، ابعاد مدیریت استرس [99/0-58/0 = Confidence interval (CI)، 76/0 = Odds ratio (OR)] و مسؤولیت‌پذیری (90/0-62/0 = CI، 75/0 = OR) رابطه‌ی مستقل و معکوس معنی‌داری با افسردگی در سالمندان داشت.نتیجه‌گیری: از ابعاد سبک زندگی ارتقا دهنده‌ی سلامت، مدیریت استرس و مسؤولیت‌پذیری در مورد سلامت در سالمندان مبتلا به افسردگی ضعیف‌تر از سالمندان سالم است.

Background: Given the high prevalence of depression in the elderly, as well as the importance of health-related lifestyle in the prevention of aging, this study was designed to compare the health-promoting lifestyle in elderly with depression and healthy elderly.Methods: This was a cross-sectional study on 200 elderly over 60 years of age referred to health care centers in Isfahan City, Iran, during the year 2018. Demographic information, health-promoting lifestyle (Walker and Hill-Polerecky questionnaire), and depression [Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS) short form] were recorded and analyzed.Findings: The prevalence of depression among 200 elderly was 59.1%, and the initial analysis showed a significant relationship between marital status, education, and all aspects of health-promotion lifestyle (nutrition, exercise, responsibility for health, stress management, interpersonal support, and self-healing) and depression. However, after adjusting for all factors in multivariate regression analysis, there was significant independent and inverse relationship between the dimensions of stress management [odds ratio (OR) = 0.76; confidence interval (CI): 0.99-0.58) and responsibility (OR = 0.75; CI: 0.90-0.62) and depression in the elderly.Conclusion: Onwards of health-promoting lifestyle, stress management, and health responsibility in elderly with depression is poorer than healthy ones.
