Abstract
Background: Intussusception is rare in neonatal period; ileoileal intussusception is rare also with a prevalence of less then 10% of all cases of childhood intussusceptions.
Case Report: In this case report, we present a 6 days old neonate referred with abdominal distention, frequent bilious vomiting and bloody stools. Diagnostic laparatomy was done after resuscitation. We found an ileoileal Intussusception without any gross lead point. Bowel resection and primary anastomosis performed. The patient recovered and discharged with good general conditions.
