تأثیر تمرین قدرتی و استقامتی بر کیفیت زندگی مرتبط با سلامتی سالمندان

چکیده

مقدمه: امروزه نقش تمرینات قدرتی و استقامتی در بهبود کیفیت زندگی افراد به خصوص سالمندان، مطرح می‌باشد. هدف از انجام تحقیق حاضر، بررسی تأثیر تمرین قدرتی و استقامتی بر کیفیت زندگی مرتبط با سلامتی سالمندان بود.روش‌ها: 45 مرد سالمند سالم به طور تصادفی به سه گروه تمرین قدرتی (15 نفر)، تمرین استقامتی (15 نفر) و گروه شاهد (15 نفر) تقسیم شدند. دو گروه تمرین قدرتی و استقامتی به مدت 8 هفته، هفته‌ای دو جلسه و هر جلسه به مدت یک ساعت به ترتیب تمرینات مقاومتی و تمرینات استقامتی انجام دادند. گروه شاهد در این مدت مداخله‌ای دریافت نکردند. کیفیت زندگی مرتبط با سلامتی قبل و بعد از دوره‌ی تمرینی با استفاده از پرسش‌نامه‌ی کیفیت زندگی 36-SF (36-Short form) مورد اندازه‌گیری قرار گرفت.یافته‌ها: کیفیت زندگی مرتبط با سلامتی در هشت بعد عملکرد جسمانی، محدودیت جسمانی، درد بدنی، سلامت عمومی، محدودیت‌های روحی، عملکرد اجتماعی، نشاط و سلامت روان پس از 8 هفته تمرین قدرتی و استقامتی در دو گروه تغییر معنی‌داری از خود نشان نداد و فقط گروه شاهد در بعد درد بدنی پس از 8 هفته، افت معنی‌داری از خود نشان داد (042/0 = P).نتیجه‌گیری: 8 هفته تمرین قدرتی و استقامتی اثری بر کیفیت زندگی مرتبط با سلامتی سالمندان سالم ندارد. نتایج این تحقیق نشان می‌دهد که کیفیت زندگی مرتبط با سلامتی در سالمندان ممکن است متأثر از تأثیرات سطح بالا و پاسخ‌های انتقالی قرار گیرد.

Background:  We aimed to determine the effect of resistance and endurance training on health-related quality of life (HRQOL) in elderlies.Methods: Four-five elderly men were divided in three equal matched groups, resistance training (RTG), endurance training (ETG) and control (CG) groups. Resistance training and endurance training groups performed resistance and endurance training, respectively, for one hour in each session, twice a week for eight weeks. Control group were engaged in their daily activities in this period. Health-related quality of life was assessed using Short Form (36) Health Survey (SF-36) questionnaire.Findings: No significant changes were observed in eight scales of health-related quality of life (physical functioning, role limitation physical, bodily pain, general health, vitality, social functioning, role limitation emotional and mental health) in resistance training and endurance training groups. Significant decreases were observed in bodily pain in control group (P = 0.042).Conclusion: Exercise has a limited effect on the health-related quality of life in elderlies. Our results suggest that in these subjects, health-related quality of life measures may be affected by ceiling effects and response shift.
