اثر تمرین هوازی همراه با اسپیرولینا بر گرلین و ابستاتین در مردان سالمند دارای اضافه وزن

مقدمه: شیوع چاقی در سالمندان در سال‌های اخیر به طور چشمگیری افزایش یافته است. راهبردهای درمانی که بتوانند به حفظ هموستاز انرژی در سنین بالا کمک کنند، از اهمیت بالایی برخوردار می‌باشند. هدف این پژوهش، تعیین اثر محافظتی تمرین هوازی همراه با اسپیرولینا بر گرلین و ابستاتین در مردان سالمند دارای اضافه وزن بود.
روش‌ها: در این مطالعه‌ی نیمه تجربی، 36 مرد بزرگسال چاق از شهر انزلی انتخاب و به صورت تصادفی در چهار گروه شاهد، اسپیرولینا، تمرین و تمرین- اسپیرولینا قرار گرفتند. گروه‌های مکمل، طی دوره‌ی مداخله روزانه 2 عدد قرص 500 میلی‌گرمی در صبح و عصر دریافت کردند. گروه‌های تمرین، هر هفته سه جلسه برنامه‌ی تمرین هوازی روی تردمیل با شدت 70 تا 85 درصد حداکثر ضربان قلب و به مدت هشت هفته را اجرا کردند. سطوح گرلین و ابستاتین سرم با استفاده از کیت و به روش الایزا اندازه‌گیری شد. داده‌ها با استفاده از آزمون Paired t-test، تحلیل کواریانس و آزمون تعقیبی Bonferroni تجزیه و تحلیل شد‌.
یافته‌ها: نتایج نشان داد که تمرین، اسپیرولینا و تمرین- اسپیرولینا موجب افزایش معنی‌دار گرلین و ابستاتین نسبت به پیش‌آزمون و گروه شاهد شد. سطح گرلین گروه تمرین- اسپیرولینا نسبت به گروه اسپیرولینا به طور معنی‌دار بیشتر بود. همچنین سطح ابستاتین در گروه تمرین- اسپیرولینا نسبت به گروه تمرین و اسپیرولینا به طور معنی‌دار بیشتر بود.
نتیجه‌گیری: به نظر می‌رسد تمرین هوازی به همراه اسپیرولینا می‌تواند به تنظیم هورمون‌های اشتها در افراد سالمند دارای اضافه وزن کمک کند.

چکیده [English]

Background: The prevalence of obesity in the elderly has increased dramatically in recent years. Therapeutic strategies that can help maintain energy homeostasis in old age are of great importance. The aim of this study was to investigate the protective effect of aerobic training and spirulina on ghrelin and obestatin in overweight elderly men.
Methods: In this experimental study, 36 obese adult men from Anzali were selected and randomly divided into four groups: control, spirulina, exercise and exercise-spirulina. The supplement groups received 2 tablets (500 mg) daily in the morning and evening during the intervention period. Exercise groups performed 3 sessions of aerobic exercise on a treadmill each week with an intensity 70-85% of maximum heart rate for eight weeks. Serum ghrelin and obestatin levels were measured by ELISA kit. Data were analyzed using paired t-test, analysis of covariance and Bonferroni post hoc test.
Findings: The results showed that exercise, spirulina and exercise- spirulina caused a significant increase in ghrelin and obestatin compared to the pretest and control group. The ghrelin level of the exercise- spirulina group was significantly higher than the spirulina group. Also, the level of obestatin in the exercise- spirulina group was significantly higher than the exercise and spirulina groups.
Conclusion: It seems that aerobic exercise in combination with spirulina can help regulate hormones responsible for appetite in overweight elderly people.
