اثرات متناقض آدنوویروس 36 در بروز چاقی و شرایط متابولیکی بدن

چکیده
مقدمه: عفونت‌های ویروسی خصوصاً آلودگی با آدنوویروس 36 (adenovirus 36) Ad-36 به عنوان عاملی مهم در بروز چاقی مطرح می‌باشند. اثرات آلودگی با Ad-36 متناقض است. در حقیقت آلودگی با Ad-36 از یک طرف منجر به افزایش وزن و تجمع چربی و افزایش التهاب و ورود ماکروفاژها به سلول‌های چربی شده و باعث بروز چاقی می‌شود و از طرف دیگر منجر به کاهش مقاومت به انسولین، بهبود پروفایل لیپیدی و کنترل گلایسمیک می‌گردد. از جمله‌ی این تأثیر می‌تواند در پاسخ‌‌های متفاوت افراد به داروهای ضد دیابت مثل متفورمین و پیوگلیتازون خود را نشان دهد، در عین حال آلودگی با Ad-36 به طور بالقوه می‌تواند در مسیر تولید داروهای جدید ضد دیابت تأثیرگذار باشد. انجام مطالعات بیشتر در این حوزه ضرورت دارد

چکیده English

Background: Viral infections, especially adenovirus 36 (Ad-36) infection, are considered an important factor in the development of obesity. The effects of Ad-36 infection are contradictory. On the one hand, Ad-36 infection leads to weight gain and fat accumulation, increased inflammation, and entry of macrophages into fat cells, causing obesity. On the other hand, it leads to reduced insulin resistance, improved lipid profile, and glycemic control. These effects may partly explain the variability in individual responses to antidiabetic drugs such as metformin and pioglitazone. Moreover, Ad-36 infection may potentially influence the development of new antidiabetic drugs. Further studies in this field are necessary.
