چکیده

مقدمه: با بهبود مراقبت‌های پزشکی و کاهش مرگ و میر، جمعیت جهان و ایران به سوی کهن‌سالی رو به حرکت است. یکی از اهداف سالمندی پویا، ارتقای کیفیت زندگی سالمندان است. یکی از مواردی که سبب نیل به این هدف می‌شود، داشتن فعالیت بدنی مناسب می‌باشد. هدف از انجام این مطالعه، سنجش فعالیت بدنی سالمندان شهر اصفهان بود.روش‌ها: مطالعه‌ی حاضر از نوع پیمایشی بود که در سال 89-1388 بر روی 350 سالمند شهر اصفهان انجام شد. نمونه‌گیری به روش خوشه‌ای و چند مرحله‌ای انجام و جهت بررسی فعالیت بدنی از پرسش‌نامه‌ی RAPA (Rapid assessment of physical activity) استفاده شد. توزیع فراوانی فعالیت بدنی سالمندان شهر اصفهان بر حسب سن، جنس، سطح تحصیلات، شغل و وضعیت تأهل ارزیابی شد و با استفاده از نرم‌افزار SPSS نسخه‌ی 15 مورد آنالیز آماری قرار گرفت.یافته‌ها: 7/13 درصد از سالمندان شهر اصفهان از فعالیت بدنی مناسب برخوردار بودند که این میزان در مردان به طور معنی‌داری بالاتر از زنان بود و با سطح درامد رابطه‌ی مستقیم و با افزایش سن رابطه‌ی معکوس داشت. در افراد متأهل و بدون شغل با افزایش میزان فعالیت همراه بود. با سطح تحصیلات ارتباط معنی‌دار دیده نشد.نتیجه‌گیری: سطح فعالیت بدنی سالمندان در جمعیت شهری اصفهان پایین می‌باشد. گروه‌های در معرض خطر عدم تحرک بدنی، سالمندان با سن بالاتر، سطح اقتصادی پایین، زنان سالمند، سالمندان تنها و شاغل می‌باشند. لزوم توجه به این گروه‌ها در برنامه‌ریزی‌های ارتقای سطح فعالیت بدنی محسوس می‌باشد.

Background: Improvement of medical care and decreasing of mortality, have lead to an increase in ageing in Iranian population. The main goal of Active ageing is improving the quality of life. Physical activity is one of the factors that is important to achieve a good quality of life. The aim of this study was to evaluate the physical activity of the elderly in Isfahan.Methods: This cross sectional study was carried out on 350 old residents of Isfahan, Iran between the years 2009-2010. Multi stage cluster sampling technique was used to collect the sample population. Rapid assessment of physical activity (RAPA) questionnaire was used to investigate the amount of physical activity. The demographic data such as age, sex, education, job and marital status were obtained and results were analyzed by SPSS15 software.Findings: Only 13.7% of the studied population had an adequate physical activity. The frequency of adequate physical activity was significantly higher in men, those with higher levels of income, those who were married or had a lower age or were unemployed. The level of education had no significant effect on the frequency of adequate physical activity. Conclusion: The level of physical activity of elderly in Isfahan is low. The high risk group mentioned in the last part need more attention to improve their physical activity.
