چکیده

مقدمه: سرطان پستان، شایع‌ترین سرطان تهاجمی در زنان و نیز شایع‌ترین دلیل مرگ ناشی از سرطان است و 2/25 درصد از تمام سرطان‌های تازه تشخیص داده شده در سراسر جهان را شامل می‌شود. این بیماری، چند عاملی است و علاوه بر وضعیت محیطی و ارثی، وضعیت تغذیه و عوامل غذایی از جمله فولات، ویتامین‌‌های B6 و B12 و الکل نیز ممکن است با آن مرتبط باشند.روش‌ها: در این مطالعه، با استفاده از موتورهای جستجو شامل PubMed، Proquest، Scopus، Science direct و Web of Science، بر اساس کلید واژه‌های Breast cancer، Breast Neoplasms، Folic acid و Vitamin B9، مطالعات مورد- شاهدی (13 مطالعه)، هم‌گروهی (10 مطالعه) و 1 مطالعه‌ی Case series طی سال‌های 2018-2007 مورد بررسی قرار گرفت.یافته‌ها: با بررسی مطالعات انجام شده، به نظر می‌رسد که رژیم غذایی غنی از فولات، با کاهش خطر ابتلا به سرطان پستان همراه نیست. اثر حفاظتی فولات بر سرطان پستان متناقض است و احتمال می‌رود مصرف فولات منجر به پیش‌گیری از سرطان پستان در سنین قبل از یائسگی شود و به طور عمده بر روی نوع گیرنده‌ی منفی این تأثیر را اعمال خواهد کرد. با این وجود، تفاوت در حجم نمونه، منطقه‌ی انجام مطالعه، طراحی مطالعه و روش‌های ارزیابی، ممکن است باعث ناهم‌گونی در نتایج مطالعات شده باشد.نتیجه‌گیری: ارتباط بین فولات و سرطان پستان همواره مبهم بوده است و نیازمند مطالعات بیشتر و در نظر گرفتن وضعیت یائسگی و گیرنده‌ی هورمونی است تا به نتایج شفاف‌تری در این زمینه دست یابیم.

Background: Breast cancer is the most common invasive cancer in women, and also the most common cause of death from cancer and accounts for 25.2% of all newly diagnosed cancers in the world. Breast cancer is a multifactorial disease, and in addition to hereditary and environmental conditions, nutritional status and nutritional factors such as folate, vitamin B6 and B12, and alcohol may also be related to it.Methods: In this study, with the use of search engines PubMed, Proquest, Scopus, Science Direct, and Web of Science, and the keywords of breast cancer, breast neoplasms, folic acid and vitamin B9 were searched, on 13 case-control, 10 cohort, and 1 case series studies were found during the years 2007-2018.Findings: Studies have shown that a diet rich in folate is not associated with a reduced risk of breast cancer. The effect of folate on breast cancer is contradictory; folate consumption may lead to the prevention of breast cancer in the premenopausal age, and would mainly affect the negative receptor type. However, the difference in sample size, study area, study design, and evaluation methods may lead to heterogeneity in the results of the studies.Conclusion: The relationship between folate and breast cancer is ambiguous, and requires further studies to consider the state of menopause and hormone receptor in order to achieve clearer results in this regard.
