Background: In 2023, a study aimed to examine the factors influencing anxiety and aggression in preschool children (ages 3-6). The research focused on predicting these disorders based on family emotional environment factors (maternal care quality) and the child’s psychological status (moral intelligence and attachment quality).
Methods: The study involved 141 mothers over a four-month period. Data were collected through questionnaires on anxiety, aggression, attachment, moral intelligence, and maternal care quality. The data were analyzed using a Multilayer Perceptron (MLP) neural network model and SPSS version 27 software.
Findings: The results showed that self-control, positive adaptability, and caregiver availability had the highest impact on predicting anxiety and aggression. Justice, patience, and tolerance were also significant factors in reducing aggression. In contrast, negative behaviors and respect had less influence on anxiety. The model demonstrated good efficiency in predicting these disorders.
Conclusion: The findings emphasize the importance of targeted interventions to reduce emotional-social challenges in children and highlight the role of family and emotional environment factors in preventing these disorders. Additionally, the study demonstrated the effectiveness of the MLP model in mental health research, offering insights for improving the prediction of psychological disorders.
